2008 Pool Rules

The following rules will be strictly enforced.

Please cooperate and please inform any guest that you bring

to the club of the importance the Board places on these rules.

1.  NO child who is not completely potty-trained may use the main (lap) pool at any time.

2.  All children who are not completely potty-trained must wear swim diapers and tight-fitting rubber pants while using the wading pool - no exceptions.

3.  There are diaper-changing stations in both bathrooms. Changing of soiled or wet diapers is NOT permitted anywhere else in the club. Please deposit diapers in the proper containers in the bathrooms. (In the past, it has been necessary, in accordance with state and county regulations, to close the pool because people have changed diapers in open areas. If the pool water is contaminated, the pool must be closed, often for many hours. Please cooperate and change diapers in the changing areas provided in the bathrooms.)

4.  Clean up your own area. (The pool staff is here to assist members and guests, but parents are fully responsible for cleaning up after their children. Parents are also responsible for their children's behavior.)

5.  The wading pool is for the use of children 5 years old and younger who do not use the main pool without adult supervision.

6.  All children who are unable to swim without assistance remain under the immediate supervision of an adult over the age of 18.

7.  Only US Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices (PDF) are allowed for non- or poor swimmers. PDFs are not permitted in the lap pool at any time. The manager may approve others for adults who can swim.

8.  All food and beverages must be kept in the snack bar and picnic areas. No food is allowed in the wading pool area. No glass containers are allowed anywhere on the property.

9.  The pools are limited to use by those 16 years of age and older during "adult swim" periods. Please be courteous of lap swimmers using the center lanes of the pool.

10.  No running on the pool decks; no roughhousing or dangerous play in any pool; and no throwing of any object in the pool at any time. Toys or balls in the pool must be approved by the lifeguard prior to use. Lifeguards will halt play if pool becomes too crowded.

11.  If there are questions regarding these rules, please do not hesitate to contact the pool manager. Every member should take responsibility for the safe and sanitary operation of the pool - please bring any violations to the immediate attention of the pool management staff.
