2009 Pool Rules

The following rules will be strictly enforced.

Please cooperate and please inform any guest that you bring

to the club of the importance the Board places on these rules.

1.  Any child not completely potty-trained is permitted to swim ONLY in the wading pool!

2.  All children who are not completely potty-trained must wear swim diapers and tight-fitting plastic pants while using the wading pool--no exceptions!

3.  There are diaper-changing stations in both bathrooms. In accordance with state and county regulations, changing of soiled or wet diapers is NOT permitted anywhere else in the club. Deposit diapers in the proper containers in the bathrooms.

4.  The wading pool is for the use of children five (5) years of age and younger. Children in the wading pool must be under direct adult supervision at all times!

5.  All children who are unable to swim without assistance must remain under adult supervision.

6.  Only U. S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices (PFD) are permitted. PFDʼs are not permitted in the lap pool at any time. The manager may approve other flotation devices for adults who can swim.

7.  All food must be kept in the snack bar and picnic areas. Beverages are permitted in the pool areas. NO GLASS containers are permitted anywhere on the property. Members are responsible for the disposal of trash.

8.  During “adult swim” times, the pools are limited to use by those sixteen (16) years of age and older. Please be courteous of lap swimmers using the center lanes.

9.  No running on the pool decks; no roughhousing or dangerous play.

10.  Only toys or balls intended for water play are permitted in the pools. Lifeguards may halt play if pool becomes too crowded.

11.  Smoking is not permitted on the pool decks. Please confine smoking to the designated areas.

12.  When left at the club unattended, children under the age of sixteen (16) must pass a swim test. This privilege may be revoked at the discretion of management.

13.  Children under the age of sixteen (16) will be required to pass a swimming test before using the diving boards.
